Vanessa von Heydebreck

Vanessa von Heydebreck is a creative professional based in South London with over 18 years’ international experience in arts & culture with a passion for empowering creative networks and individuals.

Throughout her career, she has delivered innovative projects across a variety of creative fields, which all share at their core a focus on championing people, culture and collaboration.

Vanessa started to build a successful career in Berlin, Germany, where she worked on a range of projects including exhibition management, technical consultation, art fair sales, and liaison with artists, curators and museum directors. She moved to London in 2015, where she worked with SPACE Studios and then London South Bank University.

She currently works for the London Borough of Sutton to deliver the Cutural Impact Award, which is part of the Mayor’s London Borough of Culture programme.

Vanessa von Heydebreck studied at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design (Canada), Tartu University (Estonia), and Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weissensee (Germany).
